Dr. Disa Hatfield is currently a Full Professor at the University of Rhode Island in the Department of Kinesiology and Vice-President of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Dr. Hatfield’s research focus is multidisciplinary and focuses on strength and conditioning, athletic performance, nutrition and supplementation, perception of exercise, exercise endocrinology and non-nutritional ergogenic aids.
The importance of load management, communication and coaching education in strength and conditioning
Ms. Andrea Hudy is in the midst of her 29th year as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach. She just completed her third year back at the University of Connecticut where she directly oversees the sports performance program for the Women’s Basketball program. In her 29 seasons of collegiate strength and conditioning coaching, she has worked with 85 former student-athletes who have gone on to play in the NBA and WNBA.
